From the ideation to implementation and seeing it through to completion, we want to transition smoothly. Achieving our objectives and following through on our commitments gives us a tremendous sense of fulfilment and self-worth.

Consider the possibility that you overnight gained a reputation as a doer—someone who follows through with their commitments.

Taking action is an easy and crucial step in the process.

It can be enjoyable and rewarding to develop your action-taking skills. Your ideas and routines will need to adapt, which might even be uncomfortable sometimes.

However, it becomes much more doable once you know what has to happen and the things that need to be done.

But allow me to share with you some of my productivity hacks for great success and seek meaningful change in your life.

1. Wake Up Early

You may start your day off right by rising early. At the start of the day, you are entirely reenergized and have not yet begun to experience the gradual weariness you experience when you come home.

Additionally, you can accomplish your tasks much earlier because there are fewer distractions. You can work in peace at home (or enter the office early) while most people are probably still asleep and do a few tasks that have been piling up on your to-do list.

2. Make a Daily Plan in Advance

Every day, make a schedule detailing everything you’ll do, when you’ll do it, and how long it will take. This enables time management, guarantees that you don’t overlook crucial activities, and keeps you on the course, preserving total productivity. With the help of a productivity planner, you may plan out your day by creating a list of tasks to complete.

3. List Your Top Three Daily Tasks

I know it happens to the best of us: You set out to accomplish 10 things in one day, but by the time 5 p.m. rolls around, you have only accomplished six of them. Deal with this.


Set three primary objectives or goals for the day and prioritize them to prevent working late. Keeping you focused on vital things while you’re still alert also increases productivity.

Many people prefer to do simple things first to concentrate on more difficult ones afterwards. Others, on the other hand, prefer to tackle the complex tasks first, when their thoughts are still alert and undistracted by other responsibilities. 

Choose the approach that suits you the best, and then use it consistently. To get it right, you might need to engage in some trial and error.

7. Don’t Multitask

You may believe multitasking increases productivity by allowing you to accomplish more. When you divide your focus between several tasks, you end up operating slower. Additionally, research indicates that multitasking degrades performance. Try prioritising your task and focus on doing one thing at a time.

8. Reward Yourself (Often)

Give yourself small rewards along the way when you’ve taken action and completed tasks that moved you closer to your goal.

This teaches your brain to link pleasure and emotions of accomplishment. Treat yourself with tiny things you can enjoy while working diligently on the duties that neither thrill nor frighten you.

If your objective is to improve your fitness, be sure to refresh yourself in whichever way you enjoy so that you stay motivated. For example, set milestones like:

After I lose 4 kgs, I’ll reward myself with a burger.

This will act as a restart button for you.

9. Do the Mind Work

We tend to overthink things that are beyond our control. For example, before writing this piece for you, I spent almost two hours just planning and deciding what I should do first– the blog or other work. But when I sat, I did it in just an hour. This is how the habit of wasting time on shallow thoughts hampers our productivity. 

That’s why it’s important to do your mind work. 

Ask yourself questions like these: 

What’s stopping me from doing things? Why am I procrastinating? What are my fears?

Try to understand your subconscious mind, reprogram your belief system, and understand your fears. For the same, you must do self-analysis or use a coach’s help to identify it to work on yourself.

Change is only possible by action, not merely by “knowing” about it.
