If you are here, you are probably someone new to the Law of Assumption.
To add the cherry on top, you might have binge-watched videos and consulted your friends– what is the law of assumption, how does it work, and how to practice it?
However, you have not yet received a satisfactory answer!
But don’t feel disheartened; in this article, I’ll explain the significance of this little-known law and walk you through its execution to start your manifestation journey.
So, you might have heard about the Laws of the Universe, and the most talked about among them is the Law of Assumption.
The reason being it’s the fastest and the most powerful way to manifest the life you want.
No matter what you want to manifest,
Health, money, love, success.

The law of assumption can make it happen for you.
I’ve relied on the Law of Assumption for so long that I genuinely think it has changed my life in spectacular ways that I could never have imagined.
Why? Because it is one of the universe’s most important but least understood laws.
What is the law of assumption exactly, and how can you apply it to manifest anything right away?
Let’s start with the basics, then.
What Is The Law of Assumption?
Relatively simple, the law of assumption states you can create anything you want by assuming its existence. Assume that your wish is fulfilled; that is all you need to do to manifest it.
The law of assumption can help you bring your goals into reality, however for that to happen:
- You must be in a mindset and have a solid belief that your wants, goals, and aspirations have already been realized.
- The law of assumption is based upon the belief that WE CREATE our world via our thoughts and ideas.
In fact: Whatever we believe to be true, that is what we will experience as reality.
For instance, if you think YOU aren’t good enough, you’ll make situations in your life that support that idea.
On the other side, if you think of yourself as a capable and creative creator, you will also notice examples of it in your life.
The law of assumption is extremely strong because it gives us the freedom to choose what we think and then generates the accompanying reality in our physical world.
By carefully selecting what you want to believe and then visualizing it as already true, you can take advantage of this law.
But,
Who Discovered The Law of Assumption?
Neville Goddard, an American philosopher, made us familiar with the wonderful Law Of Assumption.
He was a New Thought philosopher and teacher who devoted his life to learning about spirituality and the undiscovered power of the human mind.
Goddard argues that nothing exists outside your own mind, allowing you to construct a completely different experience based on your current state of consciousness.
“God is in your wonderful human imagination.”
-Goddard states.
Hence, your primary creative force is your own imagination.
By picturing and experiencing the life you want to lead in your mind, you become the creator of your life.
The idea is that everything in your world is already present and depends on the perception you give it in your mind.
What a strong statement that is! What power this bestows upon us!
So, till now we know what is the law of assumption and who discovered it. It’s time to dwell right into,
How Does The Law of Assumption Work?

The first step in putting the law of assumption to work for you is to have faith in its undeniable force—the strength of the assumptions we make, whether consciously or unconsciously.
It takes practice to make it function, just like any other universal law, but here are a few of my best suggestions to assist you in your journey.
Recognize Your Goals
No matter which universal law you use, this is a necessity. What you want won’t become a reality if you aren’t crystal clear about it. By assuming that you already have what you want, the Law of Assumption operates. How can anything be yours if you’re unsure if you want it?
You would have to initially have a strong desire for something to believe it is already yours.
Declare Those Affirmations
According to the Law of Assumption, you are the creator of your reality and possess all the necessary resources. Your subconscious mind contains everything you could ever need or want; all you have to do is bring it into your conscious world.
Believe me, making something reality is far easier stated than done.
Your ability to manifest will significantly improve by regularly using affirmations that focus on acknowledging your power.
Surround Yourself With People Who Uplift You
Most people tend to take this advice for granted, but it’s actually quite crucial.
Your social circle has the power to boost or undermine your confidence.
The worst thing ever when you’re trying to manifest or just acknowledge how strong you are is when someone comes along and shuts it all down. When all you are exposed to is toxicity, it isn’t easy to have a good outlook.
Everything you’ve accomplished can crumble in a matter of seconds if those close to you don’t have the same level of confidence in you as you do.
Now, it’s important for you to understand,
How To Practice The Law of Assumption?
Step 1: List Your Desires and Live the Feeling
It’s surprising how much clearer things can become when you take the time to consider what you truly want out of life.
Grab a piece of paper, and make as many specific notes as you can about what you want to materialize.
I advise writing down WHY you need to manifest this want after you’ve finished describing your wish.
What advantages would you experience if your wish gets fulfilled?
Consider the advantages you’ll experience if you land the job you want, for instance, if you want to manifest new employment. These advantages could include having a better work-life balance, feeling more content, or earning more money.
This will assist you in putting yourself in your future self’s position and the appropriate emotional state, as suggested by step 2 below.
Step 2: Embody the Emotions
The law of assumption focuses on assuming the fulfilment of your desires and the emotion it evokes. You must therefore assume it and enter the emotional state of fulfilment.
Once you are sure of what you want and why it is crucial to adopt the proper attitude and experience what you want.
You must imagine that your desire already belongs to you and experience what it would be like to be in existence.
What emotions will you have after everything is in place?
What kind of life will you lead? Assume everything is going according to plan as you picture yourself enjoying the best possible existence.
Think only of good things and watch as your desires start to manifest.
Step 3: Detach and Let Go
I challenge you with this one– detach and let go.
And no, this does not imply that you should give up your desire. It indicates that you have fulfilled your responsibility and are now allowing your goal to come true.
It becomes yours as soon as you send it out into the universe.
Therefore, always remember that your dream is already yours if you have doubts about making it come true.
The universe wants you to have it.
Who are you to challenge the universe, after all?
Now to kick-start your journey, below are some:
Affirmation For You To Practice The Law Of Assumption
Affirmations and positive thinking have a powerful impact on our lives, but many people tend to minimize their effectiveness.
Every idea we have is similar to sowing a seed, and those seeds eventually blossom into the flowers and fruit of our lives.
We shall reap a plentiful crop of joy, calm, and happiness if we sow loving, uplifting ideas.
- I am ready for a new way of living.
- As I assume, I create.
- I am in control of my thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
- I am a powerful creator.
- I assume the best for me and others.
